We were tasked with keeping things moving whilst one of our client’s aircraft was grounded.

Our Mission:

We were contacted by a leading tour operator and airline when their aircraft became grounded and the spare parts needed to repair one of their Boeing 737-800s were delayed. It was peak season and the grounded airliner had a busy flight schedule over the next 10 days, so an ACMI leasing solution was critical in order to maintain a seamless service and ensure operational integrity. We set about finding a replacement B737-800 offering a combination of standby and live operation.

Our Solution:

Type of Lease: Ad-hoc ACMI lease

Aircraft: Boeing 737-800

Recognising the urgency of the request, our leasing experts came up with an ideal solution within just 30 minutes, securing a replacement B737-800 with the required all-economy seating and onboard catering equipment.

Availability was limited during peak season and many suitable options were coming in over-budget. Undeterred, we leveraged our strong relationships with the supplier airline to negotiate a more competitive rate for our client, giving them peace of mind they were getting the most cost-effective solution for their requirements.

We were on-hand 24/7 throughout the lease period, monitoring each flight and liaising with all parties to ensure everything ran smoothly. Any issues that arose were swiftly resolved, maintaining our client’s market reputation and on-time performance.
