An urgent request came in on Christmas Day from one of our regular ACMI clients, an Italian airline whose aircraft had become grounded in Oman. The client needed technicians flown in urgently to repair the aircraft and new crew positioned, ready to go as soon as the plane was cleared to return to service. We sprung into action to get the required personnel flown in from Italy, avoiding costly delays to the airline’s flight schedule.

Our Solution

Routes: Milan > Oman

Aircraft: Dassault Falcon 2000LX

Being part of the world’s largest air charter broker enabled ACS Leasing to draw support from specialist teams around the world for this urgent crew movement.

Despite it being a national holiday, our charter consultants were able to secure an aircraft within minutes for immediate departure.

Securing permits to fly into Oman can take up to 48 hours, but our experts in the Middle East leveraged their local contacts to get the paperwork approved in just two hours.

The crew and technicians arrived promptly in Oman ready to resume service when the aircraft was fixed. Having previously used us only for long-term leases, the client was impressed with our speed and efficiency when arranging this same-day aircraft charter.

The Finer Details
